Services Provided
1. Expert witness reports regarding psychological injury following traumatic events, such as road traffic accidents, military injuries, industrial accidents and violent assaults. Trained by Bond Solon legal training consultancy, in court report writing and courtroom skills.
2. Assessment and evidence based treatments for a range of
mental health problems
in adults (over 16 years)
such as:
- Post traumatic stress disorder
- Panic disorder and agoraphobia
- Specific phobias
- Depression
- Generalised anxiety disorder / Worry
- Social anxiety
- Obsessive compulsive disorder
- Health anxiety
- Low self esteem
- Interpersonal problems / Personality disorders
- Emotional Instability
- Self harm
- Adjustment difficulties following adverse life events
- Work related stress
- Complex grief reactions

3. Consultancy and clinical supervision for mental health teams, clinical psychologists and cognitive behaviour therapists working with the above presenting problems. I have completed supervision training at the University of Manchester and at regional Improving Access to Psychological Therapies (IAPT) programmes, and am an accredited applied psychology practice supervisor by the British Psychological Society.
Consultancy and clinical supervision can be tailored to individual requirements, and may involve input on psychological formulation, including systemic, psychodynamic, cognitive behavioural, and neuropsychological processes, and input on psychological intervention. Again, this can span a range of therapeutic orientations, including some third wave cognitive therapies and can also include the development of specific cognitive therapy skills using instruments such as the CTS-R. Consultancy and clinical supervision can be held at 11 St John St, Manchester, or at a mutually agreed venue within the Greater Manchester area.
